Please note: There is no transportation to the Senior Center or medical transportation when the Center is closed.
There is also no transportation to the Senior Center on December 26 and 27. There is no medical transportation available after noontime on December 24th and on December 26 and 31.
On Wednesday, October 30 at 1:00 pm, award-winning author and pop culture historian Martin Gitlin hosts this fun and enlightening presentation based on his book, The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time. He is the only author to rank the best of the best, including I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, The Andy Griffith Show, Get Smart, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, The Golden Girls, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier and The Big Bang Theory. He will show funny snippets from those shows and others, challenge patrons with sitcom trivia (including identifying cool theme songs!), discuss the criteria he used to rank 70 years of sitcoms and talk about how they have evolved over the decades in humor, presentation, and content. This program is entertaining, so join in on the fun!
