Being Seen, Being Heard: Playful and Profound Possibilities of Performance
On Wednesdays through December 11 from 10:30 am‐12:00 noon (performance December 11), join us for a class series of creative and expansive exploration into movement, theater improvisation, voice and the spoken word. We all have so much history to share and so, we return to the intelligence and intuition of our bodies to welcome, express, and trust the stories that will unfold. No experience necessary. All that is needed is your curiosity and an open mind. Bring a notebook and pen. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing to move in. Margaux Skalecki, BFA Dance and MA Expressive Therapies has an eclectic and extensive background in the performing and healing arts. She is a ER‐500 hour yoga teacher and is a certified 5Rhythmʹs teacher. Being Seen Being Heard was originally created as a dance theater performance ensemble. It became a vehicle to enhance the creative relationship and connection between intergenerational and people with mixed abilities populations.
