Join us on at the Senior Center on Friday, November 1 from 10:00 am‐2:00 pm, for an event of festive
remembrance to honor loved ones who have died. Dia de Los Muertos is a tradition widely observed in Mexico, Guatemala and the American Southwest. A celebration that arose from an ancient indigenous belief that each year the spirits of the dead return home to be reunited with their families has been positioned in the Christian calendar as All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day, November 1 and 2. NOTE: Prior to November 1, if you can, please bring a photo or memento of your loved one to Jamie Jensen or Julie Washburn so it can be placed on a community ofrenda (altar). Hope to see you there!
