The Senior Center will be closed on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day, and Thursday, November 28th in observation of Thanksgiving. No transportation or food services will be available on those days.
The Senior Center is open on Friday, November 29, but there will be no Springwell lunch, no transportation to and from the Center and no medical transportation.
On Thursday, November 21 from 11:00 am‐12:00 pm, Larry Poirier, Outreach Manager from Springwell, will be giving an agency overview presentation. Springwell is the local Area Agency on Aging appointed by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs for the residents of Brookline. The agency’s goal is to provide information, services and support in order to assist elders in securing and maintaining independent living in a home environment. The presentation will give a detailed overview of the all the services that Springwell provides.
