A good short story can provide the basis for a great discussion! We will send you the story by email or hard copy to read at your leisure. Then, we will meet up via Zoom every other Monday at 10:00 am. Bring your own coffee and we will supply the forum for a fun and enlightening hour.

Returning in September Since 1973, Israeli singers have performed in the famed international Eurovision contemporary song competition. From poignant and topical to romantic, upbeat and silly, Israelis have presented a wide variety of musical numbers. Join Dr. Miriam Rosalyn Diamond to explore these songs as well as the artists, stories, and controversies behind them. Knowledge of Hebrew is not required. The group meets via Zoom on the fourth Monday of the month from 7:30 – 9:00 pm beginning September 23.

Clearing a home after someone you love has passed is painful. Sifting through items to keep, toss or donate is an arduous task. It can bring you to tears and lead you to smiles.
Last year I was tasked to clear out my parents’ home. In an effort to get the house on the market quickly and to move my dad into his independent apartment, I feverishly sorted through boxes in the eaves, closets in the basement and all the rooms in-between. In my search and sort, I came across a bag tucked in the back of my mother’s sewing table. As I opened the bag, I found familiar squares from a quilt my mother had started years ago.

Calling all sports fans! The Senior Center hosts a weekly sports discussion group on Wednesdays at 10:00 am at the Senior Center. Whether you are a casual observer or an armchair expert, the Fan Forum is open to all who wish to share the joy, frustration, and excitement of Sports Fandom.

Welcoming singers of all ages for our 2023‐2024 season! Rehearsals Wednesday evenings starting September 13, 7:15 pm to 9:15 pm, at the Brookline Senior Center. No auditions. Major works will be Faureʹs Requiem and some of Rachmaninovʹs All Night Vigil. All singers must be fully vaccinated against COVID‐19.

Lynn plays music from 40s, 50s, and 60s as well as some from film musicals and we’ll dance together. You don’t need much space in your home to participate. The Senior Chorus always welcomes new members to add to its already enthusiastic roster of singers. There are no auditions. Just come on Fridays at 10:30 am and make a joyous sound with the group led by Joe Reid.
Current Events meets at the Senior Center every Friday morning from 10:30 am‐12 noon. Come share your thoughts and interact with others about what is going on in today’s world, whether it be local, national or international. It is a fun and informative event for all.
We are all rewarded when our group attendance reaches a specified number. That reward is in the form of a pizza party, held once a month, on the Friday following our attendance goal. Come and join us!
